In case you haven’t figured it out yet, many of us will live long, healthy lives, well beyond current expectations. Advances in technology, specifically life extension and longevity, require that we re-examine what earlier may have been ‘not our problem’, leaving important issues to future generations. Guess again, many of those problems will be ours to deal with and the sooner we re-adjust our thinking and take critical actions, the better we will be able to enjoy those extra years of life and abundance, as well as turn over a better planet to our children and grandchildren.

Humans are terrible about thinking through the future beyond what will happen to us, and our imperative also seems to be one of selfishness—a “that’s not my problem” kind of mentality. This is the exact reason why, if people are going to live significantly longer, this all suddenly becomes their problem, and it suddenly becomes an important problem to solve.Read more…
